Heavy sterling silver. Lavish design with clear crystal rhinestones...the supporting cast for a large red 'flower' stone. This vintage Art Deco pin was designed by one of the stars of the era...our best guess would be Coro's Adolph Katz. But the only mark on the back is STERLING.
The pin measures 1 5/8 inches across by 2 inches high. The silver is thick and hefty...pin weighs 27.6 grams.
The back has a secure rollover clasp. The rhinestones all look bright. Through a magnifier we can see only miniscule nicks to the red stone's edges. The silver patina has been left unpolished.
Excellent vintage condition. Circa 1940.
