Two sterling silver skyscrapers rise up, creating a curved ~ V ~ necklace. The solid sterling sides are each hand-hammered and etched with stars, arrows, crescents and many other decorative symbols and patterns. Some of them are accented with gilt.
The two halves are connected at the center with a rivet (only seen through a magnifier) that allows you to move the sides to widen or narrow (see photos). These should be moved gingerly to keep the rivet intact.
With the sterling silver chain, this necklace measures 18 inches around. It's 1 inch wide at center. The photos show this with an added extension chain that comes off. You don't really need it unless you want to wear this longer...to 23 inches around. The extension chain is silver-tone metal. The necklace (without extender) weighs 38 grams. it's acid-tested solid sterling silver.
If there's a signature on this, It's like trying to find Waldo. We can't see it among all the intricate work here. We've left the silver patina as found...with beautiful highlights and shadows. Excellent vintage condition. Circa 1970s.
