Miriam Haskell had a knack for combining unusual beads in her earring designs. This pair features a beautiful yellow glass bead in the center, surrounded by nuggets of genuine red coral and small neutral beads that looks like some kind of shell.
These 1950s earrings also combine clip and screw backs which Haskell found to be most comfortable and adjustable for her customers.
These earrings measure 1 inch across by 1 1/8 inch high. The backs are filigree silvertone. Each earring is marked MIRIAM HASKELL. The metal looks clean and untarnished. Overall in excellent vintage condition.
