If the Egyptian scarab is truly a symbol of luck and rebirth, then the wearer of this jaw-dropping necklace is about to have one heck of a lucky life.
This hand woven beaded bib necklace doesn't stop at 3, or 5, or 10, or 15 scarabs. No...this one goes Cleopatra all-out with 18 genuine glazed pottery Egyptian scarabs with two big ones at center that measure 1 1/2 inches high. The backs of the scarabs are 'signed' with Egyptian marks.
This massive collar measures 16 inches around and 3 inches wide. The center is 4 inches wide. The many woven beads are made of clay in neutral colors with gold metal and turquoise beads for accents.
There's a secure slide-in box gold-tone clasp. In spite of its size, this is not a heavy necklace. It's comfortable to wear. Your 'luck' begins as soon as you put this on and leave dropped jaws in your wake. Circa 1970s Egyptian Revival.
