This vintage faux pearl bib necklace would have gotten the attention of the Queen of pearls, Coco Chanel. We've read that she wore scads of them...every day. We offer this in an homage to C.C. who might have liked this scads-full necklace too.
It's got multi strands of big white lustrous faux pearls (made of glass it seems). They're spaced with disks of aurora borealis crystal beads. The pearls at bottom are about 14mm wide. The dangles hang to 6 inches long at center. The necklace measures 15 inches around. It's got a gold-tone hook clasp set with rhinestones.
Our poor manikin is not quite life size so she's barely hanging on to this opulent necklace...but you get the idea. It's quite resplendent. Excellent vintage condition. Circa 1960s.
