First, the bright colors get your attention. Then you're amazed that this 1950s fruit salad necklace and earrings set ever survived in such great condition.
The fruit are made of a lightweight material...composition or maybe paper mache. The spacer beads are wood. The decorative end caps are white enameled metal.
The necklace is two strands that measures 18 to 20 inches around, depending on where you clasp it along the beaded chain. It's about 1 1/2 inches wide. The fishhook clasp is marked JAPAN.
The button earrings are 1 inch with secure clip back grips that are also marked JAPAN. This delightful fruit set is in excellent vintage condition.
