These unusual vintage cufflinks were made by an obscure mystery designer named 'Mia' (possibly a local Floridian).
These are still in the original box which is marked EL MADADOR BY MIA.
The cufflinks have nothing to do with bullfighting. They're female faces with an odd headdress (or hair). They're big... 7/8 by 1 1/8 inches. They're silver-tone metal and the faces are overlaid on a pebble-textured frame.
The green velvet and metal box shows some soil/edge wear. The cufflinks retain their original unpolished patina. The swivels work. These are circa 1950s in excellent vintage condition. Something different for the cufflink aficionado.
