It's a Miracle. This large stunning pin was made by Miracle, the trade name of A. Hill & Company LTD. of Birmingham, England. Since 1946, Miracle has been the leading designer of jewelry in the Celtic, Irish and Scottish style with some of it actually made in Edinburgh Scotland.
This beautiful pin was made in the style of Victorian Scottish agate jewelry. The metal has an old silver pebbled finish. The stone inlays were cut by highly skilled stone cutters to look like green glass agate. The large center glass stone is multi faceted to look like real amber. Miracle made their jewelry to look like authentic traditional Scottish 19th century pieces...the kind of jewelry worn by Queen Victoria.
This pin is a big floral shape...measures 2 1/2 inches each way. The back has a secure rollover clasp. The stones are set with open backs to allow light to flow through. This pin is in excellent vintage condition. Circa 1950.
