Words...not even pictures can describe or convey the magnitude of this Miriam Haskell necklace. We mean that in both size and overall impressiveness. But we'll give it a try.
Three chains...each one is different. Multi links, box weave, twisting herringbone. They're long...30 inches for the shortest to 40 inches for the longest. The weight of the necklace is 318 grams. That's over 11 ounces. Haskell had a lot of faith in the strength of a woman to carry this off...and in fabulous style of course.
The long solid brass chains are greatly enhanced with Haskell's liberal use of Russian gold to add a rich glint to the links.
The closure is her classic filigree slide-in box clasp that holds this substantial necklace in place...with the addition of a safety chain. The back is stamped with the oval MIRIAM HASKELL hallmark. The patina is aged to perfection. For a Haskell fan, it doesn't get better than this. But then, you've got to see it to believe it.
