Here's what helped America win the war...sweetheart jewelry. Bracelets like this were sent by soldiers stationed in Europe and Asia to their wives, moms, sisters and sweethearts at home.
Imagine getting this pretty bracelet. It was made by Carl Art of fine gold-filled metal. The company started in 1937 and was well known for their quality gold-filled bracelets. This one features an etched heart in the center with an expansion bracelet that should fit a 5.5 to 7 inch wrist. The heart measures 7/8 inch high and the bracelet band is 1/2 inch wide.
The heart is etched with more hearts and the outer heart frame has a decorative design.
The expansion band features scroll decorated links which alternate with smooth polished gold-filled links. The inside of the bracelet is smooth and comfortable on the wrist. It's signed with the ~ C - A ~ hallmark with an arrow going through it. Also S-G.
Excellent vintage condition.
