This vintage Navajo bird pendant is made of sterling silver inlaid with genuine turquoise, red coral, black onyx, and mother-of-pearl.
This bird doesn't want to be recognized...he's wearing a mask which just makes him more intriguing.
The pendant measures 7/8 by 1 1/4 inches. It hangs from a sterling silver chain that's 18 inches. The entire pendant weighs 4.3 grams. The chain is marked STERLING on the spring ring clasp. The pendant is unmarked but has been acid-tested for sterling. There may be a tiny ding to the red coral or it was just set that way. Overall, this bird is in excellent vintage condition. Circa 1960s.
