Germany was always known for its fine filigree work and this 1940s bracelet and earrings set proves they knew how to spin their silver wire.
Made of silver-tone metal, this set was made (and marked GERMANY U.S. ZONE. That dates this between 1946 and 1949 when the U.S. occupied Germany after the war.
What's really unusual about the set is the motif...an angel running with goblet in hand on three links and a devil in pursuit on the other two links.
The bracelet measures 8 inches long with a secure slide-in box clasp. It's 1 5/8 inches wide. The matching clip-back earrings show the winner of this race...the angel (of course). Earrings measure 1 1/4 inches each way. Clips are secure.
This set is in excellent unused condition.
