This is a rare little sterling silver charm bracelet that made its way from Manila Philippines. We suspect it's from the 1940s when many American soldiers were stationed there and brought home souvenirs.
The bracelet is cuff style with six sterling charms dangling from the top. The charms represent the Filipino culture and include a pair of shoes, palm tree, a map of the country, an alligator, and a water buffalo.
The bracelet measures 6 1/2 inches around but should fit up to size 7 wrist. The cuff is 1/8 inch wide and the charms dangle to 1 inch long. The bracelet weighs 23 grams.
We've left the bracelet with original unpolished patina. The inside of the bracelet is stamped STERLING and we also acid tested it to confirm. Excellent vintage condition. A unique piece.
