This Miriam Haskell pin features a row of faux Roman coins with a bright Russian gold finish that was a Haskell jewelry trademark. No ordinary gold-plating would do...Russian gilt was the best.
And it shows across the faces of the coins that include someone named Franciscvs and Theresia. They shine brightly like gold coins.
The brooch measures 2 5/8 inches across by 3/4 inch high. The back has a secure rollover clasp and the MIRIAM HASKELL signature oval. Minimal signs of wear through a magnifier...overall in excellent vintage condition. Circa 1950s.
