A nice one. An old one. This sterling silver Navajo cuff bracelet is handmade with Native American symbols etched on top and along the sides of the band as it tapers around.
The top of the cuff has a solid green piece of turquoise, a color that probably started out bluer and evolved to this rare color with age.
The bracelet measures 7/8 inch wide at the top. It's 6 5/8 inches around with the opening but there seems to be enough room for a wrist up to 7 inches.
This bracelet is unmarked as most early ones were not. We've acid-tested it for sterling silver. This is 'railroad jewelry' from the Fred Harvey Trading Post era...see photo. Circa 1920s/30s. Excellent vintage condition.
