Pierre Bex jewelry was made in France from 1969 until the end of the 1980s when the company ceased production. The designs were handcrafted using molds and stampings dating back to the late 1800s.
Many of the pieces like this pin were done in classic Art Deco designs. This pin was made using antiqued silver (an old process of placing a layer of silver over copper), colorful enamel, and sparkling rhinestones.
The pin measures 2 1/4 inches across by 3/8 inch high. The back has the secure tube clasp (trombone style). It's marked PIERRE BEX. Pin is in excellent vintage condition with all stones intact and still sparkling, protected by a layer of laminate enameling.
