It's the trifecta of beautiful gemstones...genuine natural Kingman turquoise, Sardinian red coral and Baltic amber. They're set in an abstract molten flow of sterling silver that extends away from the ring band. This is because this Modernist ring is worn TOWARD the hand rather than toward the fingertips. (See photo on our small-scale hand to see how this goes. Ring will only go UP TO your knuckle, not over it.)
The ring measures 1 1/8 inches across by 1 5/8 inches long. When it sits on the finger pointing toward your knuckles, it sits very comfortably and doesn't interfere with bending the fingers. (Wearing it now as I type this with no interference other than I keep looking at it because it's so unusual and beautiful).
The ring size is 9.5 (could probably be sized up or down a bit by a jeweler). The ring weighs 20.4 grams. It's signed GJ (conjoined) on the outside of the band. We could not find the artist's name but were told that he was a silversmith in Poland who made jeweled goblets and jewelry, including for museums. His first name is remembered as being 'Gediman'.
This great ring is in excellent vintage condition. Circa mid to late 1960s. (Acid-tested for sterling.)
