It doesn't bite and it's not endangered or protected. This old alligator met its fate years ago and has spent the last few decades provoking conversations at its former estate home of many unusual artifacts.
The head is genuine taxidermy with real teeth (what's left of them) and eye replacements.
The skull measures 10 inches long and came from a 6-foot Florida alligator. The bottom of the head is covered in black felt which shows up as the inside of the gator's mouth.
We can think of many uses for this unusual decorative piece. Make it your pending mail holder. Line the mouth with foil and keep candy inside (no one will want to eat it and excess weight will melt away). How about a soap holder in the guest bathroom?...only for the guests you don't want to return. The possibilities are endless.
Excellent vintage condition. Free domestic shipping.
