Bold and grand, this Jay Strongwater (aka Feinberg) necklace was one of his last jewelry pieces made before Strongwater turned to decorating homes instead of necks.
This necklace is a great finale of three strands of turquoise and bronze ball beads. (The turquoise beads appear to be both genuine turquoise and faux turquoise...probably Howlite). A bronze-tone 2 by 2 inch centerpiece has a large faux turquoise cabochon.
The necklace measures 17 inches around by 2 inches wide at center. The clasp is a secure fishhook with bronze-tone bell caps. The necklace is signed twice with the JAY STRONGWATER oval cartouche. Excellent vintage condition. Circa 1994. The Feinberg - Strongwater name is already becoming a designer classic.
