This is very versatile. It's a pendant. It's a pillbox. It's a locket. It's a compact. It's any and all of those...in one beautiful vintage piece.
Made of heavily plated silver, the box lid is enameled with a pink rose against white. Blue flowers and green leaves add more color. The enamel lid is hinged and keeps the contents securely 'locked'.
The box measures 1 5/8 inches across. The inside is clean with enough depth to hold baby aspirin or other small pills. This can also hold two photos, a lock of hair, some blush powder, or a perfumed cotton ball. You can leave it empty and let it impress just as it is.
Circa 1940s. Unmarked. Weighs 19.7 grams. Excellent condition.
