They cascade down in a waterfall of red wood beads. This 1930s Czech pin is lush and long with dozens of oval red beads that start at a silver-tone back that's wired for the great display.
The pin measures 2 3/4 by 3 1/4 inches. The pin has a secure ~C~ clasp. The metal is clean. No tarnish to the multitude of pins and links that make this such a fabulous pin.
Most of these unsigned wood pins were made in Czechoslovakia in the 1930s/40s. Frank Hess (Miriam Haskell) designed many variations of these wood bead pins (most unsigned). This is probably not a Hess pin but once you see these colorful pieces, they can become an addictive delight.
