Sweet as honey and delicate as a spring breeze, this old Victorian era necklace is the stuff that romance is made of. At least it inspires it.
The pendant is a piece of reverse-carved camphor glass, set in an artistic filigree floral frame. A faux diamond twinkles in the center.
The pendant measures 3/4 by 1 3/8 inches. It hangs from its original open link chain. It's made of silver-tone metal, still bright and lovely after all these decades. The chain measures 17 inches around, ending with its original hook-under floral clasp. It has a patent number on it...170644. This number was issued in 1875.
The pendant is stationary on the chain. The metal retains its natural aged patina...still bright and ready to inspire romance.
