Here's a face any Shriner or Masonic collector could love. It's the face of a happy Shriner on this early Victorian bronze pendant fob.
The multi-pointed star includes the enameled symbol of the two claws which represent the Shriners fraternity and its philanthropy.
The star represents the thousands of children helped by the philanthropy each year. The friendly man in the middle with enameled blue eyes represents the membership.
This bronze medallion measures 1 1/4 by 1 3/8 inches. The back is marked by the maker...C.C. PENFOLD BUFFALO N.Y. There's a loop at top for attachment to a chain.
This antique piece has a slight nick to white enamel edge. Overall condition is excellent. We believe this to be a rare Masonic piece as not one other like it was found in an extensive Internet search.
