It's believed that Paul Sargent, designer of this Art Deco era pin, was also the Chicago Impressionist artist (1880 - 1946). He apparently made jewelry for a short time circa 1930 so, as we have found over the years, his name and his pieces are quite rare.
This classic Art Deco pin features large faux emeralds in that perfect emerald green color. They're surrounded by faux diamonds...clear crystals that still have plenty of sparkle. The setting is silver-tone metal.
The pin measures 2 1/2 by 1 inches. The back has a secure rollover clasp. There's a raised plaque that's marked ~ PAUL SARGENT 24KP ~ (for gold-plate). Pin is in excellent vintage condition with no notable issues. Circa 1930s.
