If you didn't say 'wow' when you looked at the pictures, you will when you see this in person. It's quite the pin.
Imagine fiery red glass beads that look like pomegranate seeds and some that look like little cherries and a few unusual blue/black beads to keep you from boredom...that's all here in this mound of glass beads (and one aurora borealis rhinestone) that are wired onto a double gold-tone filigree back.
The pin measures 2 5/8 inches across (the same high). From the side it's 3/4 inch. It's a hefty pin...weighs 62 grams. What a perfect gem for a coat or jacket lapel.
The back has a secure rollover clasp. Slight age tarnish to the gold-tone filigree but overall in excellent vintage condition. Circa 1950s.
