When we go fishing, we go to the supermarket and look in the fish case to see what looks like it hasn't been there for days. But some smart folks know how to get it fresh.
These six vintage fish lures have no doubt caught many a fresh fish. With those glass eyes and little metal propellers in front, what fish can resist? These lures will catch 'em hook, line, and sinker.
Two of the lures still have visible markings...the gray stripe lure is marked INJURED MINNOW.and the big handsome one is marked HEDDON BASSER. These measure 4 to 4 1/2 inches long. All are worn and used with varying degree of paint remaining. Together, they make a great display for any fishing fan. Some of the barbs have blue tips because someone had put blue putty on them so they wouldn't stick you. Some of the barbs are tarnished and rusty so these should be handled with care. Circa 1930s/40s.
