If you tend to like dainty things, run for the hills. This is not for you. But, on the other hand, if your hand can take the BIG, the BOLD, and the totally BODACIOUS and BEAUTIFUL, this bracelet will have you rapt with attention. It's fantastic. Utterly, totally fantastic.
It's big...a mass of various bronzy gold-tone chains, twisted and braided together. It has a wearable length of 7 1/2 inches. It's 2 inches wide at the end bars that hold the chains and 2 1/4 inches wide at the center.
Oh, yes...that center. Now we're talking. It's a flower. Not the ho-hum 'another flower' flower. This is a FLOWER with power. It's enameled in black and white on a three-petal gilded base. In the center and around each petal are clear bright rhinestones. The flower alone is 2 inches across by 1/2 inch high from the chains.
The bracelet weighs over 8 ounces...245 grams! (You won't need to do bicep curls for a week after wearing this.) When you put it on, it stays upright...won't turn, even at this weight. It's in excellent condition with all stones intact and no wear to the metal which has a nice gold/bronze-tone patina. Incredibly, there's no hallmark on this extraordinary bracelet. Perhaps its designer was afraid of TOO much instant fame. Circa 1980s. Only the bracelet extremists need respond.
