A ring of fiery glowing opals always steals the show. This vintage 14K yellow gold ring has a round center opal cabochon and 6 oval opals circling around. The genuine opals are accented with six small diamantés, adding to the scintillating sparkle.
The center opal measures 5mm. It has a pink and aqua green play of color. The oval opals, are about 3mm wide, also displaying that pink/aqua dolor dance.. The stones are all well matched.
The 14K gold setting shows a solid and detailed support for the opals. There's etching on the sides and twists in the gold 'branches' that hold the stones. The inside is marked KOL 14K.
The ring is size 6.5 as shown but can be sized up or down by a jeweler. The ring weighs 6 grams. The entire ring top measures 11/16 by 11/16 inches. The stones are all excellent. The ring is circa 1960s. It will be shipped in a nice ring box.
