The combination of rose and yellow gold-filled metals are ornately fashioned into this circa 1880 Victorian brooch. The pin is decorated with an etched rose gold-tone center while the yellow gold-tone bars extend on the sides. The side bars are a series of three balls that feature wire twist and bead work overlay. More of the fanciful work fans out around the raised etched center.
The pin measures 2 3/8 inches across by 3/4 inch wide. The back has the original secure ~C~ clasp. The pin hasn't been polished...just lightly wiped. It's in excellent antique condition. These fashionable Victorian pins were worn at the collar for all to admire.
