Krementz jewelry is always well-made and good-looking which explains why they've been in business since the late 1800s. They're known for making costume jewelry that looks like fine jewelry. One reason is that (according to their old advertising) their 14K gold overlay was thirty times as thick as gold in ordinary costume jewelry. Their process of high pressure welded rolled gold overlay is one of the best in the business.
This 1940s Krementz jewelry set attests to their success. The floral bracelet and matching necklace are done in both yellow and rose gold plate.
The necklace measures 15 inches around by 3/4 inch at the flower / leafy center. The clasp is a secure slide-in at the end of the herringbone chain.
The matching cuff bracelet also combines both shades of gold-tone in an open design. It measures 6 1/8 inches end-to-end with a 1 1/4 inch opening...total 7 3/8 inches around. One inch wide. Perfect for a larger wrist. (We wouldn't recommend bending this bracelet as it might effect the overlay flora.)
Both pieces are signed KREMENTZ and are in excellent vintage condition looking as bright and beautiful as the day they were made.
