The discovery of King Tutankhamun's treasures in the 1920s set off an 'Egyptomania' for all things Egyptian. One of the primary sources for Egyptian themed jewelry was Czechoslovakia.
This original late 1920s necklace is a gorgeous classic example of Czech glass and bead work. The red necklace features a King Tut pendant, fully molded on each side. A long molded bead of the King is at each side with bright red glass beads creating the chain between them.
The necklace measures 24 inches around, ending in the original slide-in box clasp. The center pendant measures 1 1/2 inches high. Necklace is in excellent vintage condition.
