Need a letter opened quickly? Leave it to Queen Elizabeth to do it for you. This vintage brass and steel letter opener is called the QUEEN ELIZABETH and was made in 1953 to commemorate her Coronation.
The opener features the solid brass lion figure holding the globe on top. The lion is a British symbol.
The opener measures 9 1/2 inches long by 2 1/2 inch across the engraved brass banner. The opener blade is reinforced with steel. There's some age appropriate wear to the patina but overall, this lion looks very good and will surely be opening letters for many more coronations to come.
