Such sweet little slippers. This fine silver and enamel pin was made by Topazio of Portugal. Circa 1930s, the pin is made of high-grade silver (it tested near sterling) and has intricate filigree and enamel work.
The top bar has a flower center with enameled and filigree sides. The pair of dainty slippers dangle from the bar. The shoes are enameled in turquoise and cobalt blue with filigree pointed toes.
The pin measures 1 1/4 inches across the bar by 1 7/8 inches long. Each shoe is marked TOPAZIO. This company is known for its high-quality, decades-old, skills in filigree / enamel work.
Tip-toe through the tulips or anywhere else you wander, wearing this great old shoe pin. It's in excellent vintage condition...gently wiped but not polished. We leave that to the buyer.
