A large polished slab of high-quality turquoise is all a well-turned cuff of sterling silver needs to make it an outstanding bracelet. That, and excellent hand workmanship. This one has it.
This vintage cuff is hammered out of a thick, solid piece of sterling. The turquoise cabochon is bezel set in the center. It has just the perfect matrix and size and no doubt comes from one of the top mines in the Southwest.
The bracelet measures 1 1/4 inches wide. The inside measures 5 3/8 inches end-to-end metal. The opening gap measures 1 1/4 inches for a total circumference of 6 5/8 inches. The entire bracelet is finished off with a rolled edge. The inside is marked with a small 925 mark for sterling. The cuff weighs 64.6 grams.
We've left the cuff unpolished to show its fine aged patina which some collectors prefer. Excellent vintage condition. Circa 1960s.
