In a word...outstanding. This vintage Navajo necklace has 50 strands of lustrous tiny silver beads that are hand strung and gathered into silver cones at the ends. There's a secure fishhook clasp. The 50 strands fall like liquid silver, fine and flowing in perfect unison. And that's just half of the good news.
There's an outstanding pendant too. It's a large sterling silver heartline bear fetish with inlaid stones. This is the work of a master craftsman and though this bear is unsigned, it looks like the work of Ray Tracey Knifewing. We've had several of his pieces in the past and this is equal in quality and artistry. The inlay is made of genuine black onyx, mother-of-pearl, red coral and turquoise.
The necklace measures 20 inches long. The bear measures 3 inches across by 2 inches (not including the bail which is another 3/4 inch). The entire necklace weighs 79 grams. The back of the bear is marked STERLING. The necklace cones are marked STERLING.
This gorgeous necklace is something special. It's in excellent estate condition. You can wear it knowing you've chosen well.
