He's a little art work all by himself. This Asian working man is die-cut out of sterling silver. He has his own easel on the back so he stands in mid-stride wherever you put him.
The piece measures 2 1/4 inches across by 2 1/2 inches high. The back is signed in Asian characters...we don't know if it's Chinese or Japanese but we're leaning toward Chinese. This seems to be quite old...the marking may specify the time period.
We've left this with an unpolished patina (first photo is most true and the rest were over-lit to show more details). The figure and the load he carries is all hand-etched. It's a wonderful little figural in excellent vintage condition.
