Is there a wild or droopy mustache in your midst? Well, here's how they tamed and curled mustaches back in the Victorian era.
This antique mustache curler has an ornate handle made of French enamel. It's simple enough to use...just press down on the mother-of-pearl button, grab hold of the mustache and curl it around the rod (which may or may not have been heated).
The mustache curler measures 6 1/2 inches long by 3/4 inch wide at the decorative enameled handle. The curling rod is made of steel. Each side of the handle has a few nicks to the enamel but they're age appropriate and minimal.
A bit of practice with this gentleman's enhancing tool and you'll soon be ready to join a barber shop quartet. Till then, this is a wonderful conversation / display piece of French enamel.
