This vintage Mexican bracelet shows great repousse handwork in a classic Taxco mid-century design.
The link bracelet is made of 925 sterling silver. Each of the ten links is hollow with a raised curvy design on top and a flat back. This has a fixed secure clasp which hooks over the bar on the other end.
The bracelet measures 7 1/2 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide. It weighs 26.2 grams.
The back is stamped with several hallmarks...925 TAXCO - HECHO EN MEXICO - PSC (the silversmith) and the Eagle 3 mark. This hallmark is listed on page 236 of Bille Hougart's reference book, The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks.
The bracelet is age tarnished but we don't polish off the old patina as some people prefer it to looking bright and shiny. The bracelet is in excellent vintage condition.
