We don't know what P.A.W. stands for or who A.H.E. Jr. was but he had good taste in key rings and valued this Tiffany & Co. sterling silver key ring which he kept in its original box.
This key ring is from the 1940s. It has an Art Deco simplicity and the Tiffany look of quality.
The ring opens with a squeeze that releases the closure. It looks like it would hold several keys...it measures 7/8 by 1 inch. The entire keyring measures 4 5/8 inches long. It weighs 15 grams. The monogrammed fob is solid sterling...like a little brick. We know that monograms can be removed so that's always a possibility if you want to put your own initials on it.
The key ring is marked TIFFANY & CO. and STERLING. The box is a bit stained but it's the old box (pre aqua color), circa 1940s. Unpolished. Excellent vintage condition.
