This antique Masonic medal came from the Temple Commandery No. 2 of Albany, N.Y.
Circa 1880s, the medal is made of copper, brass and silver. It features the knight symbol of Knights Templar at the top with two more knights on horseback in the center plaque.
The medal measures 1 inch across by 2 1/4 inches high. The back has the original old ~C~ clasp with the extended pin so it could be secured into the fabric it was worn on. Pin weighs 25.8 grams. There slight wear to the silverplating on the back. Overall, this early Masonic pin is in excellent antique condition.
