It's small and unused and in the world of Beatles collectibles, this is a rare original gem from 1965.
THE BEATLES DIARY 1965 is a small vinyl covered book. It features a color image of the Fab Four on the cover and has 31 other black and white photos inside. The book measures 3 by 4 inches. It also includes 29 pages for diary notes, biographies of each Beatle, Beatles tour information, Beatles trivia, etc.
The inside page is stamped "Made in Scotland." These diaries were intended to be sold at Shea Stadium during the Beatles' 1965 tour. The story goes that U.S. customs did not release them because most were not stamped with the country of origin. They were stored in a New Jersey printing warehouse that burned in a fire. This is one of the rare diaries that was stamped and made it to market. This is old store stock, never used, in near mint condition.
