With a body covered in faceted marcasites, a perfectly polished inlay of genuine green chrysoprase, and a tail that actually wiggles, this is one fine beautiful fish brooch.
It's an Art Deco era piece made of solid sterling silver. The fancy articulated tail is attached via two silver rivets, allowing it to move just enough to look like it's trying to swim.
The pin measures 2 3/4 by 1 5/8 inches. The back has a secure rollover clasp and is marked 925. Excellent condition.
