Oops...something's been nipping at the punch bowl. This vintage Christmas tree pin is a bit tipsy, listing to one side. We should all enjoy the holidays with a bit of this kind of spirit.
This vintage pin is textured gold-tone metal, set with some nice colorful and clear rhinestones. It measures 1 3/8 by 2 1/8 inches. The back has a secure rollover clasp. Tiny bit of wear to metal on the back edge and in the highly-magnified photo, we can see a little discoloration from the old glue adhesive near a stone or two. It's not noticeable in 'real life' size.
Overall, we think this tree has charm, sparkle, and a good sense of holiday humor. This pin is featured in the 1997 book "Popular Jewelry of the '60s, '70s, & '80s" by Roseann Ettinger (page 94).
