There are several J.P. silver artists listed in our book...Hallmarks of the Southwest by Barton Wright. We don't know which one made this ring but it was obviously someone with a lot of talent.
Made of sterling silver, the ring is a long leafy ornate setting for two turquoise and one coral stone. These are genuine stones set in sawtooth bezels. There's a lot of overlay and engraving work on this vintage ring.
The ring size is 5 (nice on a pinky). The top measures 1 3/8 inches long by 5/8 inch at the widest. Marked JP STERLING. Based on the design, this would appear to be from the Navajo tribe. It's in excellent vintage condition.
