The eagle symbolizes so many things we aspire to be...strong, graceful, free, soaring above the fray. It's always been a spiritual symbol of Native American cultures, connecting heaven to earth.
This vintage necklace features the soaring eagle made of sterling silver. It's set with chip inlay...turquoise, coral, white onyx. The graduating beads include silver, horn, and apple coral. A sterling hook and eye clasp is the closure.
The necklace measures 18 inches around. The eagle measures 2 1/2 inches across by 1 inch high. This necklace is unsigned (pre 1970) and was acid-tested for sterling. We believe it's Navajo, circa 1960s. Unpolished with natural aged patina. Excellent condition.
