This original 1940s lithographed tin cowboy clicker noisemaker is a great old toy...so nice, in fact, it was even featured in the 1981 book called 'Dime Store Days' (a great book if you can find a copy).
When you squeeze the clicker on the back, the crouching cowboy brings his arm up and 'shoots' with a clicking sound. The clicker measures 3 5/8 inches across by 4 inches high. Marked JAPAN (on the knee) with PAT. P28366.
The book says he's circa 1948. Just negligible storage scuffs to the litho but overall, this vintage toy is old warehouse stock in unused excellent condition...clean front and back.
