This is pure Victorian prettiness. This antique 14k yellow gold pin is made with such fine detailing.
The center circle features a small rose cut diamond, approximately .15 carat. The edge has an overlay of wiretwist scrollwork. The sides of the circle are an ornate openwork grid.
The sides of the pin extend out with bars that are uniquely decorated with raised gold beads and trios of circles at the ends. The back has the original secure ~C~ clasp.
The pin measures 2 inches long. It's 11/16 wide at the circle. It weighs 4.3 grams. As with most Victorian gold pieces, this is not marked. We acid-tested it for 14K and it is everywhere except for the pin on the back.
This exquisite old pin is in excellent condition. Circa 1880.
