This set gets three 'WOW's...one for size, one for color, and one for the fact that it was handmade as an homage to Miriam Haskell.
A friend of ours had it made years ago (1980s) when she couldn't find the Haskell necklace of her dreams. She had this made...by hand...in the style of Haskell, and we dare say, it's quite the Haskellesque sensation.
The necklace has seven 'florets' of ruby red glass beads with prong set tear-drop rhinestones in the center. The red beads are the color of tiny pomegranate seeds and there are hundreds of them, wired together into an incredible intricate necklace. Of course, it comes with matching earrings (for pierced ears).
The necklace measures 21 inches around by 2 1/4 inches wide. The earrings measure about 1 1/2 by 2 inches. The set is in excellent condition. While the photos may show the red color to vary, it's all nice and evenly, deeply, lusciously red. It's not often we get a triple WOW-ser.
