It seems like many cultures, religions, philosophies and mythologies use the Tree of Life as a common motif. That's probably because a solitary tree represents the entirety of the life cycle and the interconnection between all living things.
This vintage Tree of Life pin is made of sterling silver that's blooming with prong-set crystal rhinestones. Some are clear, some are pink, and there's one that's black...maybe it represents the 'bad apple'.
The pin measures 1 3/4 by 2 inches. The back is marked STERLING and has a secure rollover clasp. The silver has darkened with age and we leave things as we find them to show the patina. It would be easy to dip this and polish it up if you prefer your Tree of Life to be a shiny one.
