This is an intriguing vintage sterling silver ring from the mid-20th century. It's very wide...3/4 inch. It's large in size...lands between 11 and 12 on the ring measure so we're calling it 11.5.
Most interesting are the raised brass dots around the ring. We thought they might be Braille but we couldn't match the dots to Braille letters though some do match.
The ring is unmarked but has been acid-tested for sterling. It weighs 11.3 grams. There's one neatly fused seam line which turns to the bottom of the finger. This looks equally good on male or female, anyone with a big finger and an eye for the 'different'. Unpolished original patina. Excellent condition.
